Discussion on Temperature Rise Control of Medium-voltage Switchgear Based on Temperature Rise Test

Aiming at the temperature rise in excess problem of KYN28A-12 AC metal-enclosed switchgear， the factors influencing the temperature rise of the switchgear are analyzed by the test， the optimization design methods and solution measures are proposed. The analysis results of the temperature field and the flow field of the switchgear are obtained by the finite element analysis based on 3D modeling，and it is determined that the main measures to reduce the temperature rise are to improve the internal flow field of the contact box of the switchgear. A diversion device for improving the distribution of flow field in switchgear is designed. The temperature rise meets the standard requirements by the test， it’s verified that lifting the internal flow field of the contact box can effectively reduce the temperature rise in the relevant position of the switchgear.
