Pakistan Binjaseng Phase III 900MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project Awarded Temporary Transfer Certificate

Recently, the 900MW combined cycle power plant project designed by China Energy Construction Northeast Institute in Binjaseng, Pakistan, officially received the Provisional Transfer Certificate (PTOC) issued by the owner, and the two units officially entered the warranty period.

The project is located in Karachi, Pakistan. The project has a total installed capacity of 900MW and consists of two sets of main engines supplied by Siemens, waste heat boilers and auxiliary systems, as well as four substations and transmission and transformation lines outside the plant.

Once the project reaches full capacity, it will significantly increase the power generation capacity and efficiency of the owner company K-Electric, which will greatly alleviate the problem of power supply tension in Karachi and further reduce the cost of electricity for local customers for the benefit of people’s livelihood.
