Abstract:
This paper introduced the composition and structure of the intelligent detection system suit for medium-low voltage circuit breaker. The conventional detection scheme which was used presently was introduced, its disadvantages and hidden trouble during operation was summarized combined with reality. Then the tripping and closing circuit was analyzed in the paper with considering of uncontrollable rectifier bridge and time relay in the loop. Finally, the detection scheme for tripping and closing coil resistance based on the intelligent detection system was presented which can avoid disassembling the panel and coil of the circuit breaker and eliminate the interference of diode conduction voltage drop. The proposed method can achieve higher experimental accuracy. The validity of the proposed method for tripping-closing coil resistance was verified by field experimentation.
